FYI that we ended up using MAMA BEAR LEGAL FORMS. The resulting will and POA and Living medical will all seem functional and effective. Just do not know where to store them, or copies.
Your primary physician and your designated decision makers should each receive a copy of your Medical Directive. You should also post one of the front of your fridge for use by EMTs. Your appointed decision makers should receive a copy of your power of attorney. Sending copies into the cloud that can be retrieved wherever you are is also a good idea. The originals should stay with you someplace you deem safe.

I guess that would work if you are 100% sure EMT's will always be snatching you up in your kitchen, and not the Walmart parking lot, a friend's home, a restaurant, or someplace else you might be.
Besides that, I'm a frequent visitor to my frig while I'm in the RV and I certainly don't want to see my Medical Directive 10 times a day hanging on my fridge! It is bad enough now when I look in the mirror and some old man is looking back at me!

Yes, hanging your medical directive on your fridge only works when at home. But, that's better than not working at all, right?
Ours are in an envelope with a File of Life sticker on it. That sticker ensures EMTs will look in the envelope but I don't have to look at the details every day. In fact, once your brain gets used to it being there it no longer "sees" it.
Fire departments often have the stickers or some form of it. They are free. It's such an easy step to take to be sure medical personnel will treat you according to your choices.
