From "Brian B's Climate Blog":

- 2 maps for a 1 year journey where the average high temperature every day is within 1 degree of 70.

- 1 map for a 1 year journey where the average high temperature every day is within 1 degree of 80.

Perhaps most useful for do-it-yourselfers:

- a youtube that cycles through each day of the year showing every weather station in the U.S. with an average temperature within 1 degree of 70.

- a youtube that cycles through each day of the year showing every weather station in the U.S. with an average temperature within 1 degree of 80.

Best regards,

Tom

If half the days are at 40° and half are at 100° does that average 70°?

Every point that lights up on the youtubes represents a weather station where the average high temperature (over an approximately 30 year period) for that calendar day of the year was within 1 degree of either 70 degrees or 80 degrees, depending on which youtube you are watching.

Of course, there is no guarantee what the temperature will be on any given day at any given location anywhere in the world.

It's just statistical data that might be useful to some RVers.

Best regards,

Tom

Have friends almost following this exact route right now. They are spending June in MI, July in ND, Aug in MT and ID, Sept in UT and CO, Oct in NM, Nov in AL, and the winter in FL. I’m meeting them in Aug up in ID for the second half of the trip.
