The following message was emailed to me by Winegard: The Carryout G2+ will continue to work with DirecTV as long as you have a HD receiver. We suggest the H24 or HR24 receivers.  Your antenna will continue to get your SD programming as it is now.  DirecTV is ending service to the SD only receivers.

I've been told by several people in the business that Directv was ending SD broadcasts by the end of 2019, regardless of what kind of receiver you have. In-Motion dishes will no longer function as they can not receive Directv's  HD sat signals. The Stationary HD capable dishes or switching to DishNetwork for In-Motion will be you only options.
