Be aware that acorns can be deadly to your fur babies. A fellow workamping couple just lost one of their babies from chewing and eating acorns. Turns out they contain a toxin called  gallotanins that can cause lethargy, pain, vomiting, drooling and in enough quantity liver and kidney failure. For little dogs that amount is not very much. The little dog found the acorns in its outdoor yard at the RV park. WHO KNEW!!
