Just filled up a 30lb propane tank at Costco in Calgary and I almost fainted when the guy told me the cost would be $12.59. I'm still not sure I believe it!! Anyone konw if the US stores have similar prices? The lowest I have found anywhere was about $15 US in Yuma last year but this new price beats even that. Anyone else ogt this kind of pricing at Costco or was this some kind of fluke?

I paid $14.50 to fill a 30 lb cylinder in Upstate NY last week. Our fuel buying co-op price to fill our cottage bulk tank is currently about $1.45/gallon.

The cheapest propane we have found was at Costco in Moncton, N.B. $ 21 for 40 lbs. but they charged only for what they put in and not just on the size of the tank like many do.

I just paid $1.25 per gallon coming out of Bend OR. I saw the sign by the side is the road offering $1.25 propane and couldn't hit the brakes fast enough. Good thing there was a second drive into the hardware store.

Monday paid $2.70/gal for propane at Mr. T in Tucson, AZ and $2.24/gal for diesel at Pilot in Tucson, AZ. Propane was over $3/gal at Pilot. Mr T is how charging $5 to use the dump site which was free a couple of months ago.

My brother paid 36 cents a gallon for a tanker load last month. I think that's 8,000 gallons.

On Aug. 19 (Wed) got a 30 pounder filled at $1.68 a gallon for (6.9 gal) and no sales tax in Montana for $11.70. Then on Tuesday August 25 got 12.7 gallons for $1.40 a gallon. Called Terrific Tuesday at Northern Propane in Kalispell,, MT. as was the previous purchase. Costco in Kalispell was priced at 1.68 a gallon.
