We are full timers that installed 800w of solar last spring. Does anyone know if this qualifies for the energy tax credit? They don't specifically mention RVs, but do mention mobile homes and houseboats.

See IRS Form 5695 and, more importantly, the instructions.
The "key" is the definition of "Home":
A home is where you lived in 2016 and can include a house, houseboat, mobile home, cooperative apartment, condominium, and a manufactured home that conforms to Federal Manufactured Home Construction and Safety Standards.
