Welcome to Escapade! Let the fun begin!
Helpful hints: Please be aware that your temporary water lines are sitting above ground and the water is hot during the day. If you need to cool it down, you may want to consider running it outside to conserve your holding tanks. With this heatwave in Vermont, there have been electrical issues throughout the state. In the Escapees spirit of caring & sharing, please be conservative with your electric usage. Use propane with your appliances as much as possible. We’re all in this together!
Catch a ride, thanks to MultiGenerational Wealth Strategies!
Need a lift to or from the activities area to the campground? Look for four- or six-passenger golf carts traversing the golf cart route and hop aboard for a lift to event buildings. Stop by the MultiGenerational Wealth Strategies, booth 52 in the market, and let them know that you appreciate the ride!
Thank you to An RVer’s Friend! A huge thank you to An RVer’s Friend for sponsoring the Escapade Extras at Escapade! The Extras is your daily news and information source and is emailed daily to the email address of registered attendees. Kassandra & Ed are full-time travelers as well as members of Escapees Boomers and the Mexican Connection. They enjoy sharing their collection of tips and safety suggestions with fellow RVers. Their booth is filled with numerous items to make your RVing lifestyle more enjoyable and safer.

Kay’s Creed
In life, all acts are like pebbles thrown into a pond. Acts of hatred produce ripples of anger and revenge. Acts of kindness produce ripples of love and hope.
At the end of this week, when we leave for new adventures, let us remember the philosophy of Escapees is caring and sharing and pray for the world to understand, as we Escapees do, that our greatest strength is our willingness to help each other. Kay Peterson

Escapees Traveling Song
From Alaska and the Provinces to Sunny Mexico
From Atlantic to Pacific and wherever else they go
There’s a group of folks who have found out what it’s like to be set free:
They’re the one who proudly answer to the name of Escapees.
Oh the throbbing of the engine and the humming of the gears,
And the sound of tires on pavement is like music to our ears.
And o spirits reach a high that can’t be matched by any drug.
From a firm Escapees handshake and a warm Escapees hug.
Kay and Joe, our founders, are the very best of folks;
She is noted for her cooking and her husband for his jokes.
We are thankful to the Petersons for giving us our start:
They’ll ever more be number one in each Escapee’s heart.
SKPS are caring people and they’ll serve you in your need.
S stands for sharing and that’s the first part of their creed.
K is for the knowledge that they’re eager to impart:
And the P stands for the place to park you rig when it gets dark.
We’ve given up our fixed address for something better yet.
And we travel with the finest people that we’ve ever met.
So keep your home fires burning friend, as long as we’re alive.
Our home is where we park it---send our mail to Rainbow Drive.
By Frank Amick #31205
