Anyone out there day/swing trading the stock market full time from your RV? Curious about internet service reliability.

This all depends on what mifi you have and where you are located. I wouldn't use public or campground wifi to do trading.

It's just another internet activity.  What are you asking?

A Day Trader needs good internet, he trades on minor changes in a stock price and needs a quality connection. He can't handle the spinning circle as the system thinks about sending data.

For someone who needs the income from trading several times a day, losing a phone or internet connection could cause an expensive event. Probably not a good idea. Thanks

I would completely trust my Verizon 4g connection at anything 2 bars and above.  Even out in the dingles I can get good service.

Trade on!

I've seen a few campgrounds that offered hard wired phone service, or landline to your spot.  You pay for hook-up/service like you would in a snb.  Our camper is wired for landline service from the factory, even came with a phone.  Would that work?  Would probably limit where you could camp and require long temp campsite would be my guess.  Other than that, I usually have no problem getting/staying on the net with verizon unlimited data plans but I have been in spots with no cell service.  But, I would not depend on it for my financial needs.

This is for jacks.  I am a futures daytrader mostly trading ES.  I am also looking for the best solution for trading on the road.  If you find any real solutions please contact me if that is possible through this forum.  I am always hardwired at home but would like to trade some on the road.
