My wife and I and the little dog now consider ourselves full timers. Kids and grandkids are moved into our former stick built and we have the 5th wheel set up as we want it, well still doing some fine tuning but we are on the road. We have spent a lot of time in the trailer over the past few years but this feels different, in a good way. Can’t say it hasn’t been a challenge. It’s a little difficult getting rid of all that stuff but finally being done it feels good.
We are heading across the north cascades to the Washington coast for starters and from there south down the coast and on to where ever we want from there.
We went through this last year though we put some of our stuff into storage as we want to buy a house in 2-3 years, not so much furniture but model trains(had an 8x16 layout) and some of the kitchen stuff. Probably kept too much but it felt like a good cleansing and we feel good about it.
We spend the winter in Phoenix b ut have March/Apr to Nov to travel. Heading toward PHX now from the east, getting some work done on MH then on the Oklahoma, northern NM and northern AZ. As long as there is no snow. It is wonderful to be so free.
Welcome to the forums and to life on the road!
Welcome to a great way of life! We relate to the challenge of getting rid of model trains. It tooks us years to decide to do so. Now Dave just goes and plays with other people's trains.

Our grandson is into model trains and we will give them to him when the time comes.
