If a cruise ship originating or ending in the States wants to have gambling, it must stop at a foreign port. You can cruise around the Hawaian Islands but there would be no gambling if the ship did not leave the islands and go to some foreign port.
So the gambling boats that sail out of Myrtle Beach are illegal? They go outside the territorial limit before they open....
Are they considered cruise ships?

"It's kind of hard to RV to Hawaii." I've noticed that they don't seem to be making much progress on that highway. Looks like we'll have to take something other than an RV there, too.

I wonder if you can ship as a passenger on a freighter so you can take your RV with you?

Interesting thought. Might be cheaper to buy a truck and trailer there, then sell when time to leave. At least it is something to think about.
