Hi! I am looking for a good, safe boondocking site for one or two nights at Newport State Park in Ellison Bay, WI. I am thinking we'll just van camp for the night, but I'd also like to go back with our Class C RV so we can take the kids.

Welcome to the Escapee forums. You could stay at the Hy-Land Court RV Park that is only about 8 miles away, or there is also the Wagon Trail Campground also nearby.

If by boondocking, you mean Free, checkout the Free Campsites website.
Campgroundreviews.com is a good site to find campgrounds or freecampsites.net for boondocking.
